Happy to Report

This had better be the last time I mention anything about this... lol.....

Patrick and I have reconciled and I couldn't be happier about it. Our family is doing well, though we have a lot to move beyond and grow from. The children are happy to be a family again and are doing very well, getting ready for some upcoming sports and activities.... which reminds me. Completely off topic here, but does anyone know of someone who may be willing to teach piano to a child for a discounted rate?? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Soo... from now on, I'm hoping all entries will be of minor significance with little updates on the kids and family outings. Say a little prayer for us please!

Our newest nephew entered our lives in March, 2009.

He is handsome and well behaved... let's hope he stays that way :) His big sister, Deborah, and cousins (Add & Laner), are very eager for him to get big enough to play with.

Shocked!

So... someone has been leaving secret santa gifts at my home lately. I can't express how surprised I was to find that someone, or perhaps more than one, has gone through the trouble of preparing such delightful gifts, as well as sacrificing to give to my family. Just to give you an example of how I feel... Addison, while stuffing his face with cookies, asked me why I was crying when I should be eating 'my' cookies, lol. I am truly touched that someone cares so much. I feel so blessed and pray for blessing to those who have made these selfless gestures. So... if the responsible party reads this, please know how truly appreciative I am and how much it has touched my life. A million thank yous.

It's true...

Just to update everyone...

Patrick and I are separated and have been since July because.... well... for reasons I'd rather not mention here. So the kids and I are getting along. I'm not going to lie and say it's easy and all is well. This is a tough time for us... me, particularly.
So my current plans include returning to school where I am aiming to become a physicians assistant. I realize this is a big change in direction, but I need to feel as though I am helping others instead of just looking out for my own.
I have my good days and my not so good days. You can usually tell which by looking at the house :) I realize that in a situation like this, those who care about me and my family simply don't know what to say. I don't think I would know what to say either. So, just know that showing support and love for me and the children is all I could ever hope for. And you have all been a huge help to me already... couldn't get through it without everyone.

So there you have it... any other questions may be submitted in writing. lol... just kidding
